Dundonnell is in the Wester Ross area of the Scottish Highlands. Dundonnell is 30 miles from Ullapool and is close to Inverness when traveling by vehicle. The west coast has many great features that make it a great holiday destination - mountains to climb, open spaces to walk, wildlife to observe, clean and accessible sandy beaches, sea, loch and river fishing, pony trekking, scuba diving off the nearby Summer Isles just to mention a few. Within a short distance you have all these available from the Dundonnell area covering the communities of Dundonnell, Camusnagaul, Badrallach, Ardessie, Badcaul, Durnamuck, Badluarach and the Scoraig Peninsula (accessible by boat and by walking along a narrow track from Badrallach.
