The Cabin Letterfearn, Kyle, Ross-shire, sleeps 4, pets welcome, fantasitc views. See map location. This is haven for walkers, climbers and bird-watchers. Glenelg (13 miles), has a sandy beach, a good inn, and summer ferries to Skye. Nearby is Eilean Donan Castle, and Plockton offers seal trips and excellent sea food restaurants. Pub serving food 5 miles.

Glomach Lodge, Camus Luinie, sleeps 4, pets welcome. A hillwalkers ideal location and close to the five sisters. Great for day trips over the "free" bridge to the Isle of Sky and other locations such as Eilean Donan Castle which is only 7 miles away. See map location

The Boatmans Cottage, Glaick, Balmacara, Kyle. Sleeps 2, 1 pet welcome. The Skye bridge is within 5 minutes' drive, and Plockton (which was the location for Hamish MacBeth) is just 20 minutes' away. See map location.

Ceol Na Mara, Achiltibuie, Ross-shire. Sleeps 5, 1 pet welcome. See map location. The rocky shoreline, with secluded sandy coves, is full of wildlife. Boat trips around The Summer Islands are available locally. Sea and loch fishing may be enjoyed locally and an excellent golf course can be found in Ullapool. Pub 1½miles. See map location.

Loch Alsh Cottage, Balmacara, By Kyle of Lochalsh, Ross-shire. Sleeps 4, 2 pets are welcome, open fireplace. Skye Bridge is a 5-minute drive away and the Isle of Sky offers some excellent restaurants. Budding anglers will enjoy rights to fish for brown trout in six lochs in the vicinity.

The Narrows, Poolewe. Sleeps 4, pets are welcome. Discover this beautiful area on the west coast. The National Trust's Inverewe Gardens are within easy walking distance. The area has many beautiful clean sandy beaches, bays and islands. Spring and early summer usually has really good weather in this part of the country and their is less midgies! Golf course at Gairloch. Shop and pub 1 mile.

Badger's Den, Inverpolly. Sleeps 4, pets are welcome. This traditional highland cottage is a perfect retreat to relax and unwind from the pressures of everyday life. Good eating out places at Ullapool and Achiltibuie, splendid climbing all around, an abundance of plants and wildlife to enjoy, perfect peace and solitude. Shops and pubs 5 miles. Laide, nr. Gairloch, Wester Ross. Sleeps 6, pets welcome. The house was build in 1700 and renovated in 1994 to very high standards. The area is ideal for walking, climbing, bird watching with numerous sea birds frequenting the shoreline, and fishing. See map location.
